We are so excited to share that the Choose Love shop will be back for its seventh year! The shop opens on the 22nd of November at 57 Carnaby Street, London, where you can purchase essential and life-saving supplies from warm clothing to hot meals to mental health care support, for displaced people who need them. The shop is open until 24th December.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 10am-7pm
Thursday: 10am-8pm
Sunday: 12pm-6pm
The Choose Love Shop will also run a series of in-store events and workshops up until Christmas. Visitors will get the chance to catch film screenings, live music performances and craft sessions. And of course, for those who cannot make it to the physical Choose Love store, you can always buy items through our online Choose Love Shop.
NOVEMBER EVENTS
- Thursday 23rd November – 7:00pm – 9:00pm: Inua Ellams x Choose Love RAP Party. A night of hip-hop-inspired poems and favourite hip-hop songs. 10 poets share a poem that engages any aspect of hip hop culture. After each poem, the Dj plays two hip-hop songs – or songs featuring rappers – of the poet’s choosing that are linked to the poem. Get your tickets here!
- Saturday 25th November – 7:00pm – 8:30pm: Makani Film Screening. Four inspirational short films of courage and hope, made by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon. Followed by a Q&A with producer of BAFTA-winning documentary ‘Exodus: Our Journey to Europe’ Itab Azzam, and award-winning filmmaker and academic Yasmin Fedda. Get your tickets here!
- Sunday 26th November – 11:00am – 12:00pm: Breathwork Workshop with Aicha McKenzie. A very special breathwork workshop led by Aicha McKenzie. Further details and tickets can be found here.
- Sunday 26th November – 12:00pm: Make your own upcycled Choose Love keyring with Are You Mad. Turn plastic waste into a keyring trinket to take home with you. Get your tickets here!
- Tuesday 28th November – 6:30pm: Asylum Speakers Talk Series. We have teamed up with Asylum Speakers to bring you Tuesday Talks – an opportunity to first hand meet the people behind the headlines and the stories behind the items in our shop. Further details and tickets can be found here.
- Wednesday 29th November – 6:30pm – 8:30pm: Cross stitch workshop with Tatreez. Join us for a unique experience in the world of Palestinian heritage and art! Tatreez is a traditional Palestinian method of embroidery. Learn more about the event and buy tickets here.
- Thursday 30th November – 7:30pm – 9:00pm: Acoustic Evening with Áine Deane. Join us for an evening of acoustic music with Áine Deane in the intimate setting of the Choose Love Shop. Tickets are free!
DECEMBER EVENTS
- Saturday 2nd December – 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Creative Writing Workshop with Laurie Bolger. During this 60 minute workshop Laurie will take you through fast paced writing exercises to boost mindfulness. All you need is a pen and paper and somewhere chilled to sit and let your imagination do it’s thing. Get your tickets here.
- Saturday 2nd December – 7:00pm – 8:30pm: British-Arab Writers Group Screening. Join the British-Arab Writers Group for an evening filled with short films made by members of the British-Arab Writers Group. Tickets available here.
- Sunday 3rd December – Afternoon: Kids Day: Flying Seagulls Takeover the Choose Love Shop. An arts and entertainment charity, The Flying Seagulls run quality, high energy, positive play, arts, music and circus activities so that children facing severe challenges can still enjoy moments of childhood. Free drop-in session.
- Tuesday 5th December – 6:30pm: Asylum Speakers Talk Series. We have teamed up with Asylum Speakers to bring you Tuesday Talks – an opportunity to first hand meet the people behind the headlines and the stories behind the items in our shop. Further details and tickets can be found here.
- Wednesday 6th December – 6:30pm: Stand up comedy workshop with Makani. In partnership with Counterpoints Arts’ project ‘No Direction Home’, and refugee women’s organisation Makani, come and have a laugh learning the essentials of stand up comedy. - Thursday 7th December – 6:30pm: Acoustic evening with Iris & Steel. Enjoy an evening of English indie folk with Iris & Steel, a group who blend soulful strings, sophisticated songwriting and rich vocal harmonies to create a timeless and original sound. This event is free but you do need to register for a ticket.

- Saturday 9th December – 12:00pm – 2:00pm: Intuitive movement, breathwork and sound healing with Emerald and Tiger. Join us for an afternoon of rejuvenation and giving back at the Winter Wellness Retreat with Emerald and Tiger. Get your tickets now!
- Saturday 9th December – All day event – Kim Jordan Furniture Takeover – Join Kim Jordan in designing a stunning room divider with 135 straw marquetry panels. Kim will be bringing your designs to life at the Choose Love shop and once completed, the piece will be auctioned off in 2024 with all proceeds going to Choose Love. Free event.
